Yacht Hand course
5-day yacht hand course introduces beginners to sailing. Experienced staff to put you at ease so that you feel confident enough to take an active role on board. You will learn about sea terms, sails, rope work, safety at sea, man overboard techniques, distress signals, weather, rules of the road, helmsmanship and the beginning of navigation.
Yacht Skipper course
For those who want to increase their navigation and sailing skills, the 5-day Yacht Skipper course is popular and effective. You will learn how to skipper a yacht in familiar waters, as well as some of the more advanced sailing skills including selection of sails; interpreting weather forecasts, morring, dealing with emergency situations, night sailing and advanced navigation techniques.
Coastal Skipper course
600 nautical miles to Richards Bay, Maputo and Inhaca Island. Ideal for competent Yacht Skippers who want to gain mileage and night hours. It will turn you into a truly accomplished skipper, develop your ability to manage a crew and improve your navigation. These 10-day trips involve night sailing, pilotage, passage making, the role of the Skipper and handling adverse weather and emergency situations. This course is unique and not offered by any other sailing schools.
